Click this button if you do not have a back-up of Pocket Forth.

To replace the dictionary on the disk with the dictionary image in memory, click this button.  All definitions and variables are saved in their current state.

The old version is overwritten, so be sure to have a backup copy before you do this.

Main Window.

Type or paste Pocket Forth ‘words’ into this window.  The text is interpreted after each line and any output is displayed here.

The prompt, ‘ok _’ indicates Pocket Forth is ready for your input.

There is nothing to Clear, this just beeps.

Interpret a Pocket Forth program from the clipboard as if you had typed it in.  If the clipboard contains text that is not a program, an error will be indicated.

There is nothing to Copy, this just beeps.

Is this getting old?

You cannot Cut anything.  This just beeps.

Nothing can be Undone, this just beeps.

Edit menu

Paste programs into Pocket Forth.

Also contains commands for working with text and graphics.

Quit Pocket Forth.

Unless you have Saved prior to Quitting, all additions and changes will be disgarded.

Beep the speaker.

Printing is left as an exercise for the reader.

Unless you have installed a debugging application you will get a bomb box!  You can then use the "Resume" (or "Continue") button to quit.

Enters an installed debugger, such as TMON or Macsbug.

Makes changes to Pocket Forth permanent.  Opened documents are not effected.
